I just finished a new oil painting called “THE BRAKING OF THE WAVE (#76),” and it’s all about that wild moment when
the ocean throws a bit of a temper tantrum. Picture waves crashing hard jagged rocks, water splashing up like it’s
got places to be, and foam that looks like it’s doing its own little dance. The sky’s a calm spectator, soft and cloudy, as
if quietly saying, “Alright, you do your thing down there.” Painting this one was like trying to catch a high-energy sea
performance without missing a beat—full of movement, power, and a little bit of watery chaos. I hope it pulls you into
