I just finish this soft pastel painting ”Whispering Flames of Fall (#223),” and I swear the trees were trying to warm me with their fiery colors while I worked. There’s something about the way the reds and oranges blaze like a gentle fire behind that little white Just finished a new soft pastel piece titled “Whispering Flames house, all reflected perfectly in the calm water below. It felt like catching autumn whispering its secrets—a quiet, glowing moment where nature’s colors aren’t just seen, but felt. Working with these soft pastels brought a kind of peaceful energy, like autumn inviting you to pause, breathe, and soak in the simple, vibrant beauty of the season.

This soft pastel painting was done on Fabriano Watercolor paper 19X14 in. – 48.5X35.5 cms.
