With “REFLECTIONS-4 (#198),” I dove headfirst into the restless dance of water and color. This 16 by 20-inch acrylic is like watching sunlight play tricks on a rippling surface—blues, reds, yellows, blacks, and whites swirling together in a rhythm that feels alive and a little mischievous. I wanted to catch that moment when water isn’t quite still, but not wild either—just enough movement to keep your eyes guessing. Painting those bold streaks was like following a secret current, letting the colors chase each other across the canvas.
