”PERFUMES IN THE AIR” (# 203)

I just finished a new pastel piece called “PERFUMS IN THE AIR (#203),” and it’s my little ode to the way a simple walk through a flower field feels like a secret perfume parade. Picture a winding dirt path lined with red and purple blooms that practically lean in to say hello, leading you right into a sunny patch of yellow flowers that seem to be soaking up the day’s best light. Along one side, dark green trees stand like quiet guardians, while soft hills stretch out in the distance beneath a clear blue sky. Creating this one was like wandering down a path that smells as good as it looks—each stroke a reminder that sometimes, the simplest things carry the richest moments. Hopefully, it invites you to take a deep breath and enjoy a little burst of color in your day.
