I just finished a new acrylic called “NATURE IS BEAUTIFUL (#213),” and it’s like catching a rock formation in the act of showing off. There’s this rugged archway framed by silhouetted pine trees, like nature’s own doorway to a fiery orange and yellow sunset that’s busy painting the sky and water below. The colors got a little dramatic—because why not?—with the water reflecting all that warm glow like a mirror that’s way too into the scene. Making this piece was a bit like having a conversation with the colors themselves—they kept nudging me toward brighter, bolder notes until the whole thing felt alive. It’s a little wild, a little calm, and hopefully enough to make you pause and appreciate those moments when nature really knows how to put on a show.
