I just wrapped up a new acrylic called “MOUNT-ROYAL PARK-(# 214) – Montreal, Quebec-Canada,” and it’s basically my colorful love note to fall foliage doing its thing. Imagine a forest packed so tight with golden-yellow and orange leaves that it’s like the trees threw a bright, leafy party overhead. The trunks and branches stand out like dark silhouettes, kind of like they’re making sure the spotlight stays on all that autumn glow. Down below, the grass plays the quiet sidekick, shaded just enough to keep things interesting. Painting this felt like trying to catch that magic moment when the park buzzes with light and warmth, even in the middle of the city’s hustle. Mount Royal really is the city’s lung, and I wanted this piece to breathe that fresh, vivid energy right onto the canvas.
